The 2017 World Police and Fire Games took place August 7th-16th in Los Angeles, bringing together nearly 10,000 athletes from police and fire agencies in 70 different countries. The games, held every two years, welcome retired and active officers and firefighters to participate in athletic competitions.
Officer Benjamin Nguyen was in attendance representing the City of Chicago Heights Police Department.
Officer Nguyen competed in several team and individual Track and Field Events and placed almost every event he participated in.
