Another New Arrival

The City will welcome a new business to one of our commercial districts that will offer residents an exciting new shopping opportunity. Furniture Depot purchased the warehouse location at 375 North Halsted Street. The 30,000 square foot space sits at the northern entrance of the Halsted Street commercial corridor. 

The addition of new businesses in the City creates an attractive business climate that improves the quality of life in the community. “New development at the gateways to the city will draw more businesses and opportunities for economic development,” says Jack Hynes, Chicago Heights Economic Development. “When areas are maintained and beautified, businesses are more likely to settle in those business districts.”
In following the recommendation of the Comprehensive Plan, the City continues to create greater economic opportunities at both the Halsted Street corridor and surrounding business districts.
