On Wednesday, November 29th at 6:00 P.M., the City of Chicago Heights will kick-off the holiday season with its annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony!
Please join Mayor David A. Gonzalez, Clerk Lori Wilcox, Treasurer Jim Dee and the City Council at this fun and festive event. The tree lighting ceremony will take place on the front lawn of the City Hall Municipal Building, 1601 Chicago Road. Special entertainment is planned and also a visit from Santa Claus!

The City of Chicago Heights is pleased to announce the 2017 Light Up The Heights! Holiday Decorations Contest. We are inviting homeowners who have the spirit of the season to participate in our holiday lights contest.
Applicants must pre-register by completing an entry form and returning it to the Mayor’s Office of Special Events before 5:00 PM on Thursday, December 7, 2017.
Judging will take place after dusk between Saturday, December 9th through Friday December 15th. Applicants must have their lights on beginning at dusk during the dates of judging.
How To Enter:
To nominate your home, complete the entry form posted on the city website and submit it in one of three ways: (1) Email to email@example.com; (2) drop it off at City Hall; (3) mail it to the Mayor’s Office of Special Events, 1601 Chicago Road, Chicago Heights, Illinois.
