On behalf of Mayor Gonzalez and the City of Chicago Heights, please join us for the City’s Annual Independence Day Fireworks Display on Wednesday evening, July 3rd.
Festivities begin at 6:00 P.M., in advance of the fireworks at dusk (approximately 9:00 P.M.). Please note: In the event of rain or severe weather, the fireworks display will be rescheduled at a later date.
Once again, the “Family Fun Zone”, located on Bloom High School’s north field, is the site for the evening’s entertainment and food vendors.
The “Family Fun Zone” is a family-friendly viewing area. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
For everyone’s safety and enjoyment, please cooperate with all Police and Fire personnel with regard to temporary road closures and detour signage.
