Formerly known as “Cop on a Rooftop”, this annual fundraising event helps to support local Special Olympics athletes.
The Chicago Heights Police Department will have officers greeting customers from the Dunkin Donuts located at 120 N. Halsted Street on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 5:00 a.m. to Noon. This year, officers will greet customers outside and from the drive-thru!
Each Dunkin Donuts customer who makes a donation to the Torch Run will receive a coupon for a free donut. Donations of $10 or more will receive a Law Enforcement Torch Run travel mug (while supplies last) and a coupon for a free medium hot coffee.
Chicago Heights Police Chief Tom Rogers and Detective Ryan Zurisk, Special Olympics Coordinator for the Police Department, encourages everyone to stop by and help support this very Special event!
