Vincent Zaranti is a lifelong resident of Chicago Heights. A graduate of Prairie State College, Zaranti furthered his studies at St. Louis University and the University of Illinois. He retired after a successful career with Capgemini where he served as a Business Manager Consultant.

Vincent Zaranti served as a member of the City of Chicago Heights Financial Committee before being elected to the City Council in 2007. He has spent the last 15 years serving the residents of the 6th Ward, ensuring neighborhood vitality and improvements continue throughout the ward.
