Kelli Merrick was born and raised in the City of Chicago Heights. After graduating from Marian Catholic High School, she attended Prairie State College and Governor’s State University where she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in English.
Before being elected 7th Ward Alderman in 2019, Kelli was a member of the School District 206 and School District 170 Boards of Education. She is currently a member of the Union Street Art Gallery Board of Directors and works as the Assistant to the Superintendent of Bloom Township High School District 206.
Kelli Merrick is an active volunteer and a strong proponent of community involvement.
