George Brassea has resided in Chicago Heights for the past 8 years. He is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and earned his Master of the Arts in Professional Counseling and Master of Business Administration from Olivet Nazarene University. He also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Westwood College of Technology. 

Brassea is the founder and CEO of True Heights Treatment, a mental health treatment center. 

George Brassea was elected as Alderman of the 5th Ward in 2019. He is passionate about advocating for the increased safety of cyclists and pedestrians within the City of Chicago Heights.
